Hi everyone! Just a quick post to say that we got back from a trip to northern Spain a couple of days ago, it was great although quite a long drive to get there !
The thing I noticed once there was that it was sunny , windy, with long empty sandy beaches with waves and he best of all was that they were empty, in august, in Spain, it seemed the place to be!!
We had great time, with nice wind almost every day, between 15 and 25 knots, which was great as it allowed some great sessions with the 11 and 9m Instinct edge, which I both rode with the small bar and the 20m lines for the 9m which meant that the unhooked kite loops were just that more engaged, which was great fun!!
We also had a couple of days with up to 3m waves, which were great; we were ripping it up with the great combination of the 9m Edge and tom Bourdeau’s mana! Some great rides were to be had, with hardly anyone else in sight!
We also found some nice spots, with flat water, great for some freestyle, with just the right amount of wind for the 9, which thanks to the 20m lines was super engaged unhooked riding, and some great height thanks to the enormous lift you get with these kites!
All in all we had a great time with loads of wind, waves and beautiful beaches, made even better by the versatile Edges and the super nice mana, which is just great everywhere!
